Sponars Chalet is situated at 1500 meters altitude in the Kosciuszko National Park, just 8 kilometers from Perisher Ski Resort. Sponars is an owner operated Chalet. It is a historic, well known landmark, a traditional ski lodge offering a unique snow holiday. Sponars sits on the site of the original Kosciuszko Hotel whose Grand Slam Ski run was the first commercial ski slope in the Snowy Mountains area, just 24 kilometers from Jindabyne.   Sponars offers the best value hotel accommodation in the snow. We accommodate 100 guests in comfort with all rooms having en-suite facilities. Unlike most lodges in the snow Sponars has a FREE CARPARK for guests right at the front door. Catch our courtesy bus to Smiggin Holes and Perisher Ski Resort during shoulder and peak seasons.
